DirectUpdate - Allows you to change a dynamic IP-address to the permanent address of the form www.xxx.com. As is known, dial-up connection (and for some others too) to the Internet in each communication session are allocated different computer IP-address. DirectUpdate can make it so that it will be permanent and easy to remember (DNS-like) address. Additional features include the ability to chime with disconnection, remote control, sending notifications by e-mail and much more, including the installation of Windows 2K/XP/2003/Vista/7 as a service.
